Proverbs 27:1 “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.”

As the death toll in Myanmar continues to rise, I can’t help but think of how uncertain life may be. Especially here in the west, we have an attitude we’re we act like we’re entitled to a tomorrow, or a next week, or a next year. We plan and we schedule months in advance as if we have some sort of control over what will happen the next day or the next month, when the fact is we don’t. Why do I bring this up? t know when a cyclone or some other tragedy will wipe away all of our tomorrows just as it has for tens of thousands in Myanmar. That’s a scary thought if you don’t have anything to look forward to other than tomorrow. However, if you have eternity with God through Jesus Christ to look forward to, then it doesn’t matter if your tomorrows end tomorrow or a hundred years from know, because in heaven tomorrow never ends. That’s good news we should be sharing with as many people as possible in this uncertain world, because as we’ve seen in Myanmar, twenty thousand plus just had their tomorrow’s wiped out, and it breaks my heart to think about how many of them won’t see another tomorrow because they didn’t have Christ in their life. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen to the people around us. Let’s make sure they hear the good news.
