Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”
Where did we come from? The question of our origin has been the most blogged about topic on the internet of late; more than politics, more than the economy. I find that astounding, and also quite revealing. The reason there’s so much intense interest in this topic right now is because of the upcoming movie Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed which apparently has caused quit the stir when it comes to the question of how we go here. now is the question of whether or not there should be other theories considered along with evolution, or if evolution really is the only acceptable explanation for how we got here. It’s all very interesting, and I always enjoy a good, intelligent debate, but this debate isn’t answering the question most of us really need to have answered; do I matter? Science really can’t answer that question, but the Bible can. The Bible tells us that we were made in God’s image, which makes us pretty special. More than that, it also tells us that God loves us, which means we matter. That’s good news we should be blogging about as much if not more than the question of where we came from.
